Happy Fall Y'all!

Happy Fall Y’all! We are almost done with the first quarter, already! The students are doing a great job at remembering routines and following rules. They are kind to their classmates and enjoy sharing with the class. Ms. Cobb and I LOVE teaching your children, and your children LOVE learning! If you need information that is not located on this page, feel free to email me. I hope you find this page useful as we continue to learn and grow in K5.

What We Have Learned So Far:

Bible: Heaven, Creation, Adam/Eve, Cain/Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob/Esau

Phonics: a,e,i,o,u,b,c,d,f,g,h,j,l,m,n,r,s,t,

Handwriting: We have learned all phonics letters (lowercase)

Numbers: Write to 8, Count to 45, Pennies/Nickels, Time (hour)

Social Studies: Community Helpers (Now learning about continents/countries of the world)

 

We will be making gift bags for K5 students at New Bern Christian Academy on Friday, October 19th.  Any donations or gift cards are due by that day.  Students will decorate the bags, place gift card in bag, and fill with treats and small toys. We look forward to teaching our students to show God’s love to those who are struggling.
