Mrs. Falero

Welcome to Second Grade. My name is Janny Falero. I have been blessed with an amazing husband, Ben and 2 wonderful boys Benjamin and Josiah. About 11 years ago the Lord placed a burden and calling in my heart towards the teaching ministry. The doors were quickly opened and I must say I have been bountifully blessed with joy.  I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to teach and impact the lives of your little ones not just in academics but in their spiritual journey as well.

On my personal time  I enjoy quiet walks, candle lit rooms,  pedicures and cooking for my family which includes  3 fabulous sisters.

I am thankful to God for allowing me another year to be a vessel in the Potter’s hand. May He continue to mold me in His image as I lead and guide my students.

Parents can help their children by drilling addition and subtraction families. A great tool to use is the speed drill that goes home at the end of the week, flashcards, and educational math games are also beneficial.  Reading a few extra minutes each day will enhance your child’s ability to read with fluency and precision. Remind children to pause at punctuation and to read with expression.

Educational Games and Websites

Kids enjoy playing computer games and are drawn to them by their vibrant colors, fun music/sounds and the idea of getting responses at the click of a button .  Below is a list of fun free educational websites that can be used to enhance your child’s learning skills.  (All of Mrs. Falero’s 2nd grade spelling lists are here. Use this site to review before a test or for enjoyable spelling games.)
